I appreciate it. I’m always happy to hear from you.

Kyleen – The Bengals are depressing.

Paula – I felt like every part of Athens was the drug-prostitue part of town (accept some of the parks and right around the Acropolis), which probably isn’t a fair assessment, but I saw way more than I expected.

I especially loved the walk and view of the Acropolis from afar. My trip in late July, during the hottest temps and peak tourist time, plus the hotel in the drug-prostitute part of town, didnt make for an enjoyable visit. But the 6days that followed in Santorini made up for the it big-time. Your pics and blog have given me a whole new impression of Athens, and I sure hope I have the chance to see that side of it too oneday.

And yes, I agree the vacation went very smoothly. Thanks for making me feel so welcome (even when the Bucs beat the Bengals!)

Your descriptions of everything are so endearing. On the trip I get tired and cranky but looking back at the pictures and reading your stories reminds me how thankful I am to still be able to spend time with my children. I am one of the luckiest parents! I am truly blessed with the best children who are still willing to spend time with their parents. We all do seem to have a great time each vacation we are able to share together.

I hope the baptism for Kyleen (No. 6) was not too painful.. It was not painful for me. I even got along with mom. As usual, your blog was beautifully written and organized. I wished that I could write as good as you. Hopefully we can get one more exciting vacation together next year.
